「違いがわからない」場合、動詞の「tell」を使います。

「区別する」という意味の「distinguish」というのもありますが、
通常は「can't tell」を使う場合が多いそうです。
「can't tell」と使ったこんな表現もあります。
I can't tell which is which.
（どっちがどっちかわかりません。）
I can't tell what's 〜 and what's 〜.
（何が〜で何が〜なのかわかりません。）
ちなみに「distinguish」を使う場合は、以下のように表現します。
I can't distinguish A from B.
もしくは、
I can't distinguish between A and B.
どちらも「AとBの違いがわかりません。（区別がつきません。）」という意味です。
