キャンセル待ちにある状態は「on the waiting list」が使えます。
I'm on the waiting list.
これで「私はキャンセル待ちです。」
cancelという単語を使わないでも表せるのですね。
ちなみに「キャンセル待ちにする」は、
put someone on the waiting list
になります。
例えば、お店の人が「キャンセル待ちにしておきますね。」は、
I'll put you on the waiting list.
と言うことができます。
